            Unfortunately, the modern music community has lost a giant in the past week. Milton Babbitt, who made great strides in the electronic music world as well as theory, died on Saturday, January 29th.

           Although Babbitt no longer walks among us, he made such an impact on us. His pieces are otherworldly, ahead of their time, and will never die.
